Alia's Bio

Her name is Alia. She was born and raised in the Lower East Side. Alia comes from a unique background, her parents are both of Chinese descent but spent most of their lives in the Caribbean. Her father was born in Hong Kong, but raised in Trinidad. Her mother was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Even though Alia identifies with her Chinese heritage, Caribbean culture is a big part of her identity as well!
Alia is senior at New Design High School. She loves new things and being creative. Being productive and making things, hands on is what she enjoys. Her favorite classes are the classes where things are hands-on and she can be active with her learning! She loves how she is and she wouldn't change it for anything. Her hobbies are hanging with friends, and being loved! Alia has plans college someday and is still debating on what to major in, but knows she wants to study something involving design and art.
